The David Memorial Education Society was founded in June 1968 with the opening of David Memorial School on Rashtrapathi Road, Secunderabad in memory of the late Dr. R. David, a retired medical officer from the Government of Andhra Pradesh. With only 19 pupils and a small number of teachers, the society set out to deliver high-quality education.

In the following year, in 1969, David Memorial High School was founded in Tarnaka with 15 children and 2 teachers, further expanding the society’s reach and impact. From these humble beginnings, the society has grown exponentially, now catering to 1500 students across two campuses, representing diverse social and economic backgrounds.

With a commitment to nurturing students from kindergarten to postgraduate level, the David Memorial Education Society has become synonymous with excellence in education. Over the years, the society has established itself as a pioneer in commerce, management, teacher education, and hospitality.

Today, the society takes pride in its extensive alumni network of over 1 lakh individuals who are making significant contributions worldwide. They continue to be an integral part of the David Memorial family, reflecting the enduring legacy and impact of the society’s commitment to education and holistic development.
